In August we were challenged with a new task: German waste management and recycling company INAST Abfallbeseitigungs GmbH was on the hunt for a complete overhaul of their website design. Our friends over at Glanzbox took care of an exciting, fresh new look, while we sat down and started writing.
Creating copy for private and business customers alike
Recycling waste and all disposal processes are getting increasingly complex, and the goal of the new website was to simplify and digitalize ordering waste management services online through the new “disposal assistant”. The user can easily navigate through the type and amount of waste he wants to dispose of, check which container would be suitable, and choose a desired bring and pick up date. Our creative heads now had to create copy that will help the users on their disposal journey.
Waste management is not an interesting topic for marketing? It is!
Yes, old bed frames, bricks or moist card board boxes are not exactly typical marketing topics. It might seem difficult at first to create interesting, engaging content which makes website visitors convert into customers by booking container services online, or by bringing in waste in person. We did a careful research about common terms used to find waste management services online, and build our copy around it. We decided to go for a rather personal and less serious approach to explain each service of the company.
Final copy in close collaboration with Glanzbox
After finishing our trash talk (ha ha), we headed over to Glanzbox for final changes, little additions, and making sure our copy matched the general voice of the brand, and the texts previously written by Glanzbox.
